Firm Principal, Bill McGuire is an experienced, results-driven, executive with expertise in marketing, advertising, public relations, new business development, sales, and event management.
With deep industry experience, we help both service providers and advisory firms develop and implement effective strategies and tactics.
Bill has worked on both the corporate client side and agency service side. From experience, he knows that the size of the budget often has little to do with success of your marketing efforts. Rather, understanding the needs of clients and being able to develop and execute on a well thought out strategy is what's important, and being nimble enough to make the continuous improvements to achieve results.
Before starting his own firm, Bill served as Vice President of Strategy for MarketCounsel, a leading business and regulatory compliance consulting firm to the country’s preeminent entrepreneurial investment advisors. His responsibilities included coordination and direct oversight of all strategic relationships and direction including, marketing, design, public relations and special events undertaken by the firm.
Prior to MarketCounsel, he was with TD Ameritrade Institutional where he led the breakaway broker marketing program including direct marketing, lead generation initiatives, and educational webinars geared towards individuals considering becoming an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).
A graduate of Montclair State University, Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology with concentrated studies in Graphic Design. He has also been active in many industry associations, including the Business Marketing Association and Direct Marketing Club of New York. He is currently on the steering committee and marketing chair for Strengthening the Advisor Community (STAC) and an active member of the Montclair Business Partnership.
